1 Kings 12 "Lessons from Rehoboam and Jeroboam"

In this chapter we see the failure of Rehoboam as King: how he sought council from his own friends and forsook the council of his elders. We also see the rise of Jeroboam as the king of the ten tribes: how he created other ways of worship in fear of loosing the ten tribes.
