Romans 8:14-27 "How Does the Spirit Prepare the Children of God for the Coming of Christ?"

Isaiah 53:6 "All We Like Sheep Have Gone Astray"

The picture in this verse is of foolish sheep who went their own way and rejected God. We have turned our backs on Him. We are cautioned in this message to be careful not to have a spirit of rebellion and not to make peace with sin. This prophecy said that there will be one who would die for our sins and Jesus' death fulfilled that prophecy.

1 Kings 17 "Elijah Trusts and Waits Upon God"

As Elijah delivers a message from God to Ahab he learns to trust and wait upon God, and we learn as Pastor Fred Malone opens up this chapter.
