Romans 1:18-20 "Man Without Excuse"

1 Kings 2:1-4 "David's Charge to Solomon: Love God and Keep His Commandments"

As David lay dying he charges Solomon: "Be strong, therefore, and show yourself a man. Keep the charge of the Lord your God to walk in His ways..." 1 Kings 1 "Lessons From the Rebellion of Adonijah"

We learn the root of this rebellion in Adonijah was due to the poor fathering of David and as the chapter unfolds we learn that God protects David and Solomon.
