We are reminded to remember the forgiveness shown to us, to strive to overcome sin, and to live for the glory of God by living a holy life. Verse 13 ends the sermon beautifully: Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
