Spiritual Depression Chapter 13 "False Teaching"

In this chapter Martin Lloyd Jones explores the connection between becoming involved with false teaching and a person's spiritual well being. We have to always be on our guard, for God says in Galatians 1:9: "...if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!" In this chapter we are given nine tests to discern whether a teaching we have heard is false, and we are encouraged to have our boast in Christ alone.

Absalom returns to David after a two year exile for killing his half brother. Absalom plans to overthrow David's throne. David begins to feel the consequences of his terrible sins.
